Quoting Mike Holmes, but it seems relevant. "You know the saying, “Easy come, easy go?” Well, the same applies to contractors. If the contractor you’re thinking of hiring has a wide-open schedule, chances are he’s not busy for a reason. Good work is hard to come by, so alarm bells should be ringing if booking your contractor’s time seems a little too easy."

I went with Visconti on the original group buy. Yes John can be a bit prickly but has mad tuning skills.

You don't have to take what was said to extremes. Of course answering/replying in a timely manner is important. Just don't be upset if that's later in the day or even the next day depending on the severity of the problem. |

Visconti so far has been awesome, very helpful even when I went and goofed up a flash. His constant updates and the support page have been really helpful, and the logs on updates are always nice to read. Plus I have noticed a big changed over the past months in the tunes from the orginal group buy one so I really feel im getting my moneys worth with all these updates he is doing.
People have had a few issues with him support wise but I think most of the time they try and contact him through other channels when in reality the support page is the best route. I have a friend tuned with FA20 and they do a great job as well along with perrin. TLDR: All the vendors/tuners on here are pretty dam amazing but if you can go with whos closest and try and get a dyno tune if possible especially for boosted applications. |

This is a double edged sword, it's just as likely that the contractor is busy re-doing all the jobs he botched because he over booked and neglected to spend the time needed or lacked the skill to get it right the first time. |

I think I missed something here
Anyway, our tunes are now on our web site! I think its against the rules for a vendor to put a link here so you'll just have to go to our web site. |

I wish these forums were more friendly, where everybody's opinion was respected and not called "bullshit". Not to sound like a cry baby, but it makes the forum less enjoyable for me.

Agreed. I come to this form to learn more about my car and try to get questions answered. This topic is a good question to ask. I know I had this question at one point, and I'm sure many other people did/do.

Sadly, anytime there are conflicting opinions, this happens. Especially on something that people are really passionate about. Pretty sure everyone here loves their cars, so naturally people get defensive when someone says something bad about the guy that did the work on your baby.
With that said, I'm going to go with Perrin, since they are the closest to me and have a really good rep. That's all.

I have been totally satisfied with @PERRIN_Jeff's tune, it's rock solid and fast. That is the only tuner that I have dealt with.
