As promised, here is both in car video, and a review by someone else, granted it is on 91 at about 2000+ feet- I am not a good video editor, this was shot by my droid cell phone attached to my very dirty windshield, after driving thru the desert for over a hundred+ miles to meet these guys.

At about 4:00 into it I switch places with another member Yruyur who test drives my car, you get his 1st unbiased impressions, driving along side my wife, so its with 2 people in the car. He makes a great test driver as he owns a Visconti tuned e85, drove the P&L Turbo too, which I know has more TQ than mine, I drove it too, and will have a separate thread for my review with that member, @Supermassive.

I had *JUST* installed my coilovers and this was before Ground Control sent me the right rear coils for my car's new power levels so he didn't get to drive it with the suspension how it is today, which is much better. I've since changed tires too and dialed in my pressures.

then you get some 3rd party input from my wife
at 8 minutes, he comments on the sound of my BOV, and again at 12:55

maybe @Yruyur can comment on the freeway pulls I did that the phone did not capture, and the highway non canyon driving he did

Camera phone quality will have to suffice this time, next time it will be the new go pro. ENJOY! Again, Big Word up to @PERRIN, @Brian@Vortech and @GC_Adam

yes, there are days I wake up EARLY, I mean just letting the sun rise enough for animals to make their way to safety, JUST to go drive the canyons. My garage contains a b6s4stock,e36m3dinanstg4,my test brz,her brz, and a truck I try to keep right side up. Our geography lends me an awesome 'test environment' to play, push and especially enjoy the '86 in

Do you remember what your stage your kit was on the day the video was shot? Were you on the new compressor, small pulley, etc.? Trying to get an idea of the power level you were at versus the updated basic kit that's for sale.

LOL @ 4:42 "Dammit, now I'm going to have to buy a supercharger"

This was the new Vortech basic kit that sells with the 3.48" pulley, should be 8.5-9psi-ish.
I had just gotten it back then, and had just put the coilovers on.

for those who want to be factual, I went back and made sure, the video was shot on March 17th just past noon. I had stayed at that power level, so this was running the Vortech Tune.

Thanks for the video, it really gives everyone a better idea of what the power delivery is like. I'm liking it a lot.

What supporting mods do you have for the supercharger? Oil catch can/breather? Oil cooler?

An unsolicited 1st impression driving response video. I love it.

Quoted for significance...

"That pulls more than the turbo that I drove." 5:36

This makes me smile. Thank You.

Nice vid Gem, we do not have that kind of scenery around Houston at all. Is it always so busy out there? If that road was deserted it would be amazing.

My new compressor will be back tomorrow! I only had to drive my GF's '07 Aveo for 3 days thanks to @Brian@Vortech and his team. That is like getting out of jail early! So I'll be joining you soon.

Nice vid! We still need to meet up and really compare the two. I am curious about Chris's opinion on both cars, but I gotta have him actually play with the car instead of worrying about damaging it
