Yeah money wise it makes no sense. Years ago I was gonna buy a 993 roller for pretty darn cheap. Started looking at Porsche engine prices and was totally depressed. My dream of a cheap 993 was over. Also you can only do these types of swaps if you plan on keeping the car forever. Resale is very tough, too much labor costs for anyone to break even.
