Sorry to bump an old thread. Wondering how these will work with the OEM Sachs dampers that come with 17+ Performance Pack? Will they void the factory warranty (on shocks)? Too bad the pics are no longer available.

Warranty wise, unless the dealer installs it, they will most likely will void your warranty for only that particular part (i.e shocks)....but they are meant to work with the stock suspension so you shouldn't run into any issues. Here are some pictures of my STI Pink Springs installed. (Before & After) 15mm Drop.

@Mr.Impreza, thank you! Car looks great with the STI springs! Interesting that you went with the STI springs instead of the TRD ones (rebranded Eibach pro-kit?), which are available in the US.
Japanese retail is <$200 USD for a complete set of 4. I am planning to travel to Japan in the near future and pick up a set. Anyone know where/how I can purchase STI parts in Japan? |

I wanted a minor drop that would work with the stock shocks and improve handling while maintaining comfort. TRD springs dropped the car more than I preferred. Overall, I prefer everything STI over TRD on this car apart from the TRD Spoiler. STI just seems to engineer better parts than TRD on this platform. Maybe it's due to the car coming from the Subaru Factory.

Depends on which region you’re talking about. TRD Japan’s parts are completely different than TRD USA. Just as how WRX STI parts from US STI (SPT) we’re pretty subpar compared to STi Japan. They’re different manufacturers/suppliers. TRD Japan's springs are the same 15mm drop as the STI pinks. Its the USDM springs that are 1"-1.5"

Wow, never even knew they had springs that only dropped the car 15mm. Thought they just had that Sportivo Coilover set that dropped the car by 10mm.

Can anyone comment further on the ride quality of the pink springs? I'm looking for a mild drop, but the stock setup is already quite busy over rougher surfaces, and already have a hard time keeping the wheels on the ground over bumps through corners. Preferably these would be an improvement in both ride comfort and roadholding!

Bump old thread.
Anyone know if the USDM STI pink springs were a port installed or dealer installed option? Asking for SCCA DS stock street purposes. Thanks!
