Starlink Issues?

Has anyone else been having issues using Starlink for remote start/door unlock/etc?

It seems to work sporadically for us at best at the moment. It may be location/cell service dependent but some locations are very close to where it has worked fine in the past.

We have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, updated the head unit, and tried the option to fix it through the headunit.

I don't use it very often, but as of last week it worked just fine for me.

I've only used it when somewhat near the car and both my phone and car had reasonable coverage. I have noticed the time between locking the car and getting the completion notification can be pretty long.

So we have still been having this issue. Have talked to Starlink Customer Service multiple times and it'll work once after whatever fix they do and then it wont. Did some more digging online and now it seems like the car goes "dormant" and the system is in a deep sleep type mode and has to be waken up first. Today I unlocked/locked the car and remote start worked (I tried before unlocking and it failed).

Anyone know anything about this dormant deal and how we might be able to get around this without walking out the the car first?

Perhaps it has something to do with the recent fix for the vulnerability that was found that allowed anyone that knew your email address (or potentially your VIN) to open, unlock, flash flights, and track your car via GPS.

Was that the recent headunit update?
