Ugh, it's very frustrating I know. Most of the premium manuals in our region seem to go to the dealers with the mark up around the Boston area. The good ol sell more get more...

I just bought a 2023 GR86, but had to fly 2300 miles to get it. I did not predispose my purchase to any particular dealership, including any that were close to where I live. The dealerships in California are charging $5000 to $10000 markup on top of MSRP, and the dealer I purchased from charges MSRP. It was worth it to fly to Ohio and drive the car back to California, or even ship it home. I would encourage anyone who wants to buy a car, new or used, to not limit oneself to any one dealership.

Not sure if they are spoken for and just sitting at the dealer anyway...but there are 2 GR 86 at Toyota of Muncie as of last night. A red manual and a black automatic. No clue on options.

Buying a new car is probably not something I am currently set up to do responsibly, or I'd probably go after the manual myself.

There are also 2 Supras.

People here only like huge trucks & SUVs. Mostly huge trucks. Oh, and muscle cars.

Well now. That would NOT have been on my list of guesses.
Really one extreme to the other since they are truly one of the last of the real American Muscle Cars. And before anybody says it Mustangs and Camaros are not muscle cars.
If the rest of it is as nice as those exterior shots it is a great buy.

Honestly this is for the best. The GR86 would no doubt be more fun and engaging on the track, but the gto is a blast on the street. This one has a lot of maintenance done to it and upgrades where the stock car lacked, brakes, suspension, poly bushings etc. It's also very clean, inside and out. I still have a turbo miata track rat drift car, so this gto will only see the track when my buddies rent it out for some laid back laps.

And a lot more room for the kids than the GR86.
