Bought a kit, put it together. Can't wait to blue the barrel and stain the stock!

i can't help but think how funny it would be to try to rob a store with that unloaded. then the cashier points out it's unloaded, and you go through the 15 minute ordeal to load it while threatening the cashier to open the register.

and after all that, you point it back at the cashier, and the ball rolls out...

not a bad little kit, though watching the video, seems like the fit of the parts is way out of spec somewhere if everything needs to be dramatically modded to fit the stock

The only thing that was out of spec on mine was the trigger guard. After watching their video, I did expect to do a lot more work but it was light dremmel sanding.

I play sea of thieves so this dumb gun has been on my list for a while now lol. So I might rob a merchant on the high seas but no 7-11s

SBR paperwork? I can't deal with the brace even with my short wingspan. I am just going to SBR a lower this winter.

Hot or cold blue? If you're going to spend the time to do cold then why not make it look more authentic and brown the barrel?
(I had an English coach gun and an American made naval version. Both were brown and neither had that much of a flare.)

Picked up a CZ527 Carbine in 7.62x39. A little bit of an impulse purchase... but it was one of the last few left in Canada and it is discontinued. Apparently they love shooting steel case milsurp... so I couldn't resist another affordable to shoot gun that I can also use for deer. The set trigger is also a very cool feature.

Turns out the first set of wrong scope rings I bought fit this rifle. This was clearly fated!

Range membership is now active so I'm headed out on Saturday for some more shooting!

Because until I read this... I had no idea browning a barrel was a thing?
A surprisingly tedious process it seems.

Couple of my good buddies helped me out a ton working on my house the last couple years, so I ordered them can cannons for Xmas. I am going to prep them by giving them a case of O'Doul's first.
