Yeesh. I don't think I'd go more than 10 just due to engine design and material. I assume your goal is 350-400whp?

Ideally around 400whp but the number really isn't that important to me.

I hope, for your sake, you're going to add some reinforcement to the engine. 400 on stock seems pretty dangerous. No amount of tuning will protect some wear components that aren't designed for that power.

I have no plan or desire to build the motor. Been there, done that on my STi.

You can't make that statement as there are plenty of people pushing 400whp+ without issues. At this point i'm more worried about the trans breaking than the engine. And sorry, its all about the tune when playing with FI. I'm not saying the car will last forever but its a make or break luxury with ANY car.

Also this isn't my DD. lol

I really wouldn't recommend that. You will be throwing quite a bit of money away selling a used kit with a Precision turbo and buying a new kit from another company. The JDL kit is as good as any of the other kits on the market. Just relax and take a breath, unless you want to buy a Full Blown kit, then by all means contact LJ, haha.

Lol thanks, I do have to agree about the waste of money but after being near 2500 with them for the upgrade and an oil cooler, another 2500 plus what I get for my current kit won't hurt. Kidding though, it would hurt. I've always like the full race and the things that spencer fab is cooking up. Full blown is also top notch and good service.

I agree with @King Tut...unless you plan on just saying screw it to FI in general, I'd just keep what you have. You will end up taking a big loss for no reason if you just plan on buying another kit.

I was up on Full-Race for awhile, and was close to pulling the trigger on my S2000, but communication broke down in the end.

Communication, that's a big one when dealing with the online community.

Yeah I know that's true. Always did have a doubt between the JDL kit and the JRSC. I was seconds away from buying it from the guys at counter space garage and the little holiday year end sale tipped me over. Seems to perform well inform track duty, where I like to spend my free time. After all the only thing i spend money on is my car but I do agree getting another turbo kit would be throwing away money.

Yeah, I always thought Full-Race was a bigger company since they have been in the Honda turbo game for as long as I can remember back to when I couldn't afford a Full-Race manifold, but I would have loved one. I came to find out they really aren't that big of a company and are kept quite busy. In the end I favored a low side mount configuration which Full-Race and Full Blown didn't provide.

Don't go to the slow side. You won't be happy with a JRSC after you have felt the greatness of a turbo kit. Show the CSG guys what a turbo track car can do.

Ah, non-DD is somewhat of an exception.

I'm always worried about engine longevity so throwing more boost at it scares me until I see data showing high boost for years with no catastrophic failures. I'm always looking to make power reliably, not 25 psi on a drift car for a few months til my engine blows.

Clutch, trans, and possibly CV joints would be the first to go with more power like that, I expect.

Like everyone else said, just keep the kit. I can see you are pissed, but getting of the kit out of spite isn't the best idea. Unless you are Kanye West.

The communication definitely sucks sometimes from the, but they kits are really good. And yours is already installed. I've compared mine to some other local kits and the jdl one is better.
