Stock FA20 Crankshaft Angle Sensor - Anyone know what type of sensor and output?
Does anyone know what type of the sensor the stock CAS is?
Does anyone have any pictures of the stock CAS wheel? Does anyone know what type of waveform the sensor outputs? I've been trying to pour through online technical PDFs and can't find an answer to this question. If no one on here knows then I'm just going to have to put an o-scope on it. |

See attached TSB, it has this waveform in there:
It sure looks very similar to the EJ25 crank angle sensors. See STI service manual excerpt below: I would characterize it as a variable reluctor sensor with 3(?) missing teeth, basically the 2-tooth gap is one reference window and the 1-tooth gap is another. |
