I'm quite certain there is common ground if, perhaps, I refer you to Exhibit B. Day 4 of 17 you call summer. You've spent the money you swore to your wife you misplaced and have your car detailed to enjoy the next 13 days. Some bloke has decided to negate summer and instead spray what chemically reduces down to some bizarre version of Windex all over your pristine car.

Would you vote for me then?

Follow up question. Are those hubcaps?
Ahaha I'm from CT it snows on and off for 5-6 months of the year. We have to use our washers several times per drive on those days. I guess in SoCal though where it's sunny and 70 everyday all year then it's kind of an odd event.

i've 'refined' my process down to a 2 steps of a diamond hone, and 1 sandstone hone step.. leaves enough striations for a ragged edge to help with cutting through, but smooth enough to not really feel it in the knife stroke.

Secondly, and really my single issue platform, is to abolish wind screen washers to operate whilst in motion. There is something about spending 100s of dollars on a car wash/detail/clay bar only to be twelve miles into my drive home and have some jackwagon initiate a bottle draining wind screen cleaning at 70MPH in traffic with no where to go and no time to get there before adopting all the grime from his vehicle.

Road Rage. Death Penalty. Murder. 2nd Amendment. These issues really take on a different meaning in this circumstance. If your wind screen is so filthy that you cannot safely operate a vehicle at 70MPH then you should be forced to deal with that situation long before you get to 70MPH, yes?

Vote for me and I will impose an automatic windscreen washer shutoff at 3MPH for all USDM vehicles. And also, please at least be willing to vote for me so I can relive my 20s and 30s. Thank you all in advance.
i believe your second point needs more refinement. i was with you on your first point. had your second point been chosen to address people running high beams/light bars on main roads, or as others have said, left-lane hogs, i absolutely would have been willing to write you in. as i said, my vote doesn't really matter anyways!

The president is not the only choice being made tonight. Believe it or not, down ballot elections affect your day to day more than the presidential election. I agree the electoral college is a bit of a problem nowadays, but there is some weight behind the popular vote in the long run.

But thank you for voting. It matters to me that you did so.

The president is hopefully not the only thing you voted for this cycle, with local choices often decided by merely thousands of votes.

That being said, continuing to show that the electoral college is outdated and ineffective is the only way to show it should be changed or removed, sitting at home doesn't do that.

Although as I posted that, a friend brought up a legitimate point for 22 passing; his wife is an ASL interpreter, and I guess her normal side gig is hourly contract work for that. So 22 passing helps with that since I guess she doesn't want/need it to be considered a full-time job.

Dude, 22 not passing doesn't fuck up contract workers, your buddy and wife bought into the propaganda. Here's what they were overturning:

https://ballotpedia.org/California_A...y_Bill_5_(2019)

Because it's her side gig she easily qualifies for parts B and C and A just means her contractor can't be a draconian **** about how she performs the work. Literally zero change for her if 22 was struck down.
