Not at the moment but they have said that most of their line up will be available in the next 3 years. Right now I am hard pressed to think of any of their cars or SUVs that can't be had in hybrid though. Subaru is way behind them and needs an edge.

Haha that can be said the same for Toyota.

Mazda is making CX-30 in EV was it? Nissan released Ariya. Honda? Honda e was it?

So def Toyota & Subaru is a bit slow on that area. But I think Toyota is pushing for Hydrogen power more.

I think what convince me to buy is a "full range hybrid". Basically, I'd want a Volt type car except it would have a 300+ mile range battery, and an engine that was a range extender that would kick in somewhere around 200 miles out, or optionally whenever I want it.

Basically, the worst of both worlds.

Yep. Toyota was once way ahead in the ball game. Then they just sort of dropped the ball, turned around and strolled the other way. Now they have to get caught up again. Even at that though they are still miles ahead of Subaru who didn't even want to go to the ball game until their Mom made them.

Toyota have been pouring money on other department more than automotive atm. So it's better spend less money on R&D and collab with other brand and make other brand do that part for them. Somewhat win-win for Toyota. Toyota fans, lose-lose... to certain degree.

Ya but look at the body lines compared to the Crosstrek. Profile is almost identical up to the front bumper.

The red (Subaru) one looks like a Crosstrek by Tesla truck division design.
