I tried the back 2, then 5. I'd say that back 2 make 60% of the result, at least with my axle back.

Damn it guys Good JOB! I haven't been this excited for my 86 since 2018!!!
I can finally get rid of that annoying tiny drone vibration!!

*I have Fujitsubo Authorize R, basically the aftermarket version of STI muffler minus fancy tips. Oh I can't wait.

For any exhaust retailers reading this, I highly recommend you start stocking these and offer them as an optional extra with any cat back. They're small enough and light enough to just throw in the box and it shouldn't even effect the shipping costs.

To OP, thank you for bringing this to our intention. I really didn't enjoy driving my car with this exhaust setup and was considering spending multiple hundreds plus many pounds of weigh and hours of time in sound deadening to quiet things down. Instead it cost $80 CAD and about 20 minutes of time. Phenomenal!

After years of working in loud industrial settings and engine rooms I have a really hard time with competing noises. Before this I'd need to have the factory 2013 FRS radio at 35-40 just to hear it over the sound of the exhaust and road noise (that's another topic that I'll be fixing asap). And then having the radio that high with all the other noise I'd have a headache after half an hour of driving. Now with these installed I can hear clearly with the radio at 20-25.

It's not like going from a concert to a library kind of difference. I can certainly still hear that there's an exhaust on the car, it's still louder than stock. But it doesn't drone in a cabin anymore and has made driving the car enjoyable again. And for the cost, this was very well worth it.

I'm wondering if there's something similar that would be more accessible. It's just an exhaust hanger. If another company uses similar size holes in their hangers and a similar design that isolates the vibrations it would be just as good.

Did you ship with DHL or FedEx?
I had an item ship with DHL recently and they charged me a $20 "processing fee" on $17 dollar duty.

Fedex

My preference for shippers from outside of Canada are; USPS, UPS, FEDEX, drive there to get it myself, ask a stranger to destroy it and send me a recording of the process, DHL.

Private carriers will charge you the fees for goods crossing borders for ISF, Customs declaration, etc. Just because you didn't get charged from one carrier and got charged from another doesn't mean the first carrier is better, they simply forgot to bill you for it.

Postal service doesn't typically charge you for it because they are not as "for profit" as private carriers, plus they do not have an efficient system for sending you a bill through the mail.

Anyone know the best way to record sound. I want to make a video comparing the before and after. Im thinking doing different speeds and driving scenarios. Cruising on the city, highway, then increased speed on highway and a pull. Whenever those things decide to show up.

you can always try using a phone app that has a decibel meter (although it won't be super accurate) and measure the sound levels on the exact same stretch of road at exact same speeds and note the peak levels for both oem and then these new hangers to give a numerical value to the difference in noise levels inside the cabin

Starting to get a bit antsy about these hangers. I'm the worst when it comes to waiting for new parts.

Mine took over a month to come in. I highly doubt this is something Subaru keeps a lot of in stock.

Also impatiently waiting for mine to ship lol, ordered on May 11.

Hoping to calm the deceleration resonance/drone with the TRD SE cat-back...
