Tire was where the sidewall starts so I'd get to replace it

Tires were flat the last time I saw it. Would make a good will-it-start video.

They have been flat every time I saw it.
Of course he would have to have them flat before moving to Idaho since there is probably a California law that says you can't export air out of the state.

I wasn't sure if he still had it. I had seen a few pictures of it before.

I was on the Turnpike a while back and hit a hoe. For clarification, not a woman of questionable moral values, a yard tool. Hit sidewall and punctured sidewall. These were some pretty new tires, TireRack stood by it and gave me a new one.

Lol same spot I got mine. As of today it’s still keeping the air in the tire so I should be ok till tomorrow when the tire gets here.

Got a question that the brain collective here might have the answer too.

A coworker's car got hit by a non-insured driver who was under the influence. Their partner was driving and not listed on their insurance so it isn't being covered (partner also doesn't have their own insurance). They do have gap insurance and are going through that to cover the loan. I have only involved gap insurance when a car was totaled and insurance took it.

I am assuming they don't pay for repairs since it's only for the loan, but then what happens with the car? Would the GAP insurance take the car in this case? Or will my coworker just get to keep the car as is in this instance?

That seems fishy in general. Your coworker didn't have comprehensive coverage?

My guess is he keeps it, but it depends on CA law and how the gap insurance terms are worded. Never had gap insurance.

Maybe the coverage is different in CA (that's an issue sometimes in the US) but insurance on your car usually covers drivers with consent as long as they are licensed. Heck, even the insurance on my plane covers pilots that have my consent as long as I verify they are properly licensed and give consent.

As far as gap insurance goes that covers the loan balance vs insurance coverage, not damage.
