Sooooo, SOMEONE very carefully put the A/C condenser disconnect in wrong after cleaning the coils on Saturday... fortunately that same person realized maybe that's what happened before calling for service...
Today I learned those stupid things can go in either way, but only work one way.

Reminded me of this timeless old thing.

Just called my eye doctor to schedule an annual exam for the first day they had available. That day is December 19th. Thankfully they'll let me order a six month supply of contacts so long as I have an appointment booked.

Same kinda deal with my dentist and doc. Make an appointment and months out. What's the deal?

At this point I can only guess and may ask when I call back later this month to order said contacts. I don't believe any special restrictions are still in effect here. Although there may be more cleaning needed between patients slowing things down. Perhaps a few other practices haven't survived and now the same number of people have fewer options?

Same here. To schedule an appointment with my family doctor, we are looking about a month out. Hell, by that time I could be cured or dead!

I usually just go up to the walk-in clinic. The only downside is that they won't give me any of the hard drugs - because I'm a walk-in. -
