I would search around and see who's running what for forged internals. I have read of people also building up the heads. Like a Full Blown Motorsports stage 2 build on the heads. Good luck to ya.

As it looks I won't need a clutch for a while. The car won't even idle with the base tune.

Haha, I guess the bright side is that I'm just saving money since I don't have a car, walking is healthy lol

Check your install. Moto-east has tuned so many of these kinda hard to believe it wouldn't even idle.

You're in Vegas it looks like. I would talk to the guys at FTeightysix and see who Thomas used for his tuner. He may be a good option for you

We got it up and running.. It was tripping a code for the map sensor below thresh hold (P0107) when we installed my kit on his car, Mike swapped over the tunes on a '15 rom and we didnt change the pulley and some other minor things, i was running max of 19 psi, He is running around 11. Mike got the set up right.. everything is good now

Just got an updated tune from moto east. I don't know how he does it but it's getting faster and faster it seems in the butt dyno. Raised my idle so now the car doesn't try to die when the AC is on and it's over 100F in texas. Should have asked for this ages ago.

I will soon install my new coated header, front pipe, Cosworth thermostat ..let's see how the car will like them, I am hoping I can make a bit more power with more stable coolant temps (at track) with the new setup

Same thing, its cooling off here to around 110, dry heat. My idle is pretty good now, seems low at times especially with the AC on.

Got my Kraftwerks C38 installed and dyno tuned today.
Dyno on 94 octane 245WHP / 185TQ 9psi (DynoDynamics) by Airboy in Calgary
Stock FR-S Dynoed at 148WHP / 115TQ on this same exact dyno. We are at 3400 ft elev too so numbers may look low but bump of 97whp and 70tq feel fine imho.

so not being satisfied with the KW non-thermostatically controlled oil cooler spacer I reached out to Racer X Fabrication to see what they could offer up. I haven't received the part yet to verify it fits, but this is what they've come up with. Very excited to complete my oil cooler kit and hopefully by spring. house buying and a wedding has put the car hobby on hold for a bit.
