Security indicator on and I can't even jump start the car... please help.

Okay I am not sure what is going on with my 2013 FRS. Yesterday, when I got off work, I decided to mess around with something in the trunk before starting the engine. When I went to go turn the engine on, it wouldn't start and the security indicator started flashing on the dash. I managed to jump start it. Now today, I opened the trunk before starting the engine as usual and AGAIN, the car won't start and the security indicator starts flashing. This time, I cant even get the car to jump start... The only thing that works is the security indicator flashing. I have no clue what to do.

Additional points: Usually with a dead battery, when I go turn the engine on it would turn over and make some noise but the FRS is making no noise when I attempt to turn the engine on.

Regular key. When the cables are hooked together properly, not even the headlights will turn on. Seems like the security indicator flashing is literally the only electrical thing working in the car at the moment.

There's a fuse in the engine bay, 30 amps green, that controls the ignition protocol. I can't remember the name right now. I had a friend blow this fuse and same thing, putting the key in and turning didn't do anything and I believe he had the security light blinking too. Look at the engine bay fuse box and seek any blown fuses.

Get out your manual and figure out whether your theft deterrent system is or has been activated or you battery is dead. Sounds to me like you set something off when messing with you trunk. If you dont deactivate security system before messing around with battery, jump starting etc you can have these issues. If you dont have manual find the pdf and download it. When someone is trying to help answering their questions might help you as well. Just sayin

Well, the first thing I would suggest that you do ...... is test the battery.

It ended up being a dead battery. I just assumed it wasn't because it was a week old Toyota CPO vehicle. They ended up replacing my battery for free.
