Towing a FRS

Has anyone used the FRS as a towed car behind a motorhome?
Are there any tow bars made to do this?

I just set my wheels up with major positive camber, (somewhere around 90*) and just fly away

Are you talking about towing it with 2 wheels on the ground, like this?

The owners manual says not to tow it like that as it may damage the drivetrain. You should really only tow it with a full-sized car trailer.

I have an enclosed trailer I use when going to the track, but for short camping trips it would sure be nice to have a car along with out the big trailer.

you are talking about doing this..

I could not imagine doing that to an 86. Logistically could be done but it would require a lot of fabrication and cutting to the bumper. typically I only see small size SUVs being towed in this fashion, i.e.: Suzuki Samurais, Jeeps, rav4s and honda CRV

That's what I think also. None of the commercial tow company s make kits for the FRS so I would have to build something my self, and I'm not willing to butcher my car.

But I thought I would ask, you never know.

Drive wheels must be off the ground when it is being towed. You can tow it with the REAR UP and the Front ON THE GROUND. This will not damage the drive train.

It is recommended to have all 4 wheels off the ground.

Good rule of thumb when towing any car -- Drive wheels off the ground.
