So there is paperwork that accompanies the sticker/badge?

I’m curious what a smog technician would want. A CARB sticker comes with the CARB kit, but not the tuner kit, so it seems reasonable to want to see that sticker and not just some printed paperwork. Usually they need the sticker on the part or an engraving. Printing paperwork could work, but they are probably wise enough to the fact that anyone can print a CARB doc and try to pass a product off ass the CARB version, and wise enough to know that some similar products come as a CARB component and as a federal or off-road/track component.

My thought would be that it’s the combination of the sticker and the EO paperwork to back it up, as well as that your system is in compliance with the specifications of the EO. But I’m not from CA, so I don’t have any personal experience. This is just what I gathered from all the inputs and reading the EO.

I'm guessing a crisp $20 would be sufficient.

They want the EO number. They look up the EO number to get a digital version of the exact EO on the ARB website.

Trying to navigate SCCA Solo Classings, but it’s proving to be quite perplexing as I’m not really sure where to start.

Running a JRSC would automatically put your in a certain class - regardless of MY or Mode (i.e., tS, PP, TRD)l? If so, anyone running SCCA solo know what class that is? I’ve been just running with my local club that doesn’t follow SCCA rules and will likely be picking up a JRSC and running SCCA next season. Just trying to get myself squared away sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the help!
