Here's an update. When I put my original file back on my car, I read the ECU info to check the cal. It ended in A01C. Then, whilst downloading the new stuff, which I was simply re-downloading, I checked the cal via OFM. It read A00.

Now, I've put the stage 1 back on and I checked the cal through my tablet and ecu. Now, the read calibration on the car ends in B01C. Why is what OFT reads my ecu's calibration to be changing?
The latest maps from OFT are based off of the B01C file. Some of the .bins are interchangeable, hence why the default map works.

So I've plugged my OFT into the computer for the first time in about 3 years, it did a bunch of automatic updates for a while, plugged it back into the car to do some logging and keep getting "please update template file", but do not see any updated template file on the OFT website, and the OFT manager is showing everything has been updated. Any help? Thx

Flash to stock tune and then flash to your current stage you was before update?

Random thought... what would happen if you interpolated the throttle tip in tables? and started it at 1% throttle delta vs the 4% you've displayed as an example

Thanks

you might get bad economy as ecu would be adding fuel for extremly minpr throttle movement, like during highway cruise. you shoulnt have to resort to altering stuff like that to supress knock get the timing fueling correct, cam timing can also effect knock , and intake air temps.

Probably a stupid question, but is there a reason my throttle % only reads 96% under
full throttle according to pedal travel?

It's just what it does.

just a quick question:
what would be the advantage/difference in stage 2 vs stage 1 for Catted UEL Headers, FP, ARK + drop in filter if my main goal is power/torque linearity and get rid of the torque dip ?
should i stay on stage 1 or is there an advatage (ie +25 hp tq) in stage 2 ?

thanks in advance

Stg 2 is optimized for the additional air flow your adding from your headers.

well, that helps. catless or catted doesnt matter?
, aftermarket systems are 2.5"+ inner diameter while OEM is 2.125" so i guess even catted headers is Stage 2 ?

catless only. A bigger diameter catted header still has a huge clog in it. Stage 2 is for catless setups only. What will end up happening is that the exhaust gas temps will run too high and you'll melt the cat.
