Acura ILX

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/04/20/a...x-from-25-900/

Starting at ~$26,000, 2.0L engine (150 hp).
Hybrid ~$29,000, (1.5L engine) 39/38 mpg (city/highway).

This car is based off of the civic, so what do you think? Yay or nay?

Another boring non-engaging boat to add to the sea of boats.

It does however make the FRS look much more valuable

That's what I was thinking. I've never driven an Acura I didn't enjoy but I think it's safe to assume that the FR-S/BRZ will handle better. The hybrid doesn't look too bad as a sporty daily driver, given that it doesn't need premium gas.

So its the official CSX for the States?
We've had a rebadged Civic up here in Canada for years.

Where the Civic in NA looks like it does, the CSX up in Canada pretty much looked like the JDM Civic sedans.

Can Honda make attractive cars like old day? This is beyond boring.

It's such a NAY! Pretty much anything and everything coming out of Honda/Acura franchise is lackluster. Honda has lost it's way so bad I don't know if they could ever recover in this decade. It's sad actually. I used to love Honda/Acura, but they just don't have anything in their line up that caters to enthusiasts.

I think I'm going to apply to be a Acura designer. You just throw an Acura badge on an already pitiful Civic and say, "All done!" That's the equivalent of taking an apple, painting it orange and telling the CEO you've improved the damn thing. Honda's stake owners need to read this related story of being duped:

Looks really boring. Aren't they cutting the TSX off for this too? TSX was one of the best cars they had too.
