Ace 91 - 162hp 139tq

Ace E77 - 176hp 147tq
The delta between 91 and E77 looks about right. However, the delta between Ace 91 and stock seem a bit low?

Well, one very important point to bring up (that was mentioned to me)is that we only did 3 quick pulls for each run session. The ACE 91 pulls were literally completed 5 mins after i stepped in and reflashed car. There was no time for the car to learn at all what it needed. The E77 ACE run had a bit more time for some adjusting since we had to run the car on the dyno (idling) to pump the 91 out. Then we completed the 3 pulls. So by no means did the car have time to really sort itself out on the dyno.

The dyno was horribly busy on Saturday (surprise surprise) I think 5 cars were scheduled and another was a favor. And most of those were tunes, not just dyno pulls.

One thing CSG MIKE mentioned to me about the car learning, is the throttle mapping. Fun fact I killed the car taking off in Cobbs parking lot for the first test drive after the work was completed. The throttle was late, and i looked dumb. Oh well. In fact the throttle was a little funny for the first 90 seconds of driving. Then all was well.

Another reason why the delta between 91 and ACE 91 seems off might be the quality of the gas. In an earlier post i mentioned the quality of most 91 stations in Oklahoma City. However, I would wager to say that the limited time to learn before the dyno runs has a lot to do with it.

But after todays AX, I will share any other experiences i have. More power, with a new proper LSD. Its gonna be a good time.

Another point about the delta between stock and 91.

I wasn't really stock. I was running a tune from delicious for the stock run. This strictly is a wild ass guess on my part. But if we had run my car in complete stock form on that (damn low reading) dyno. I would imagine we would see a baseline that is 4 to 6 hp/tq lower in the whole range, with peak differences as much as 8 or 9. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

This is a question that i am still working on. I want to drive the car the next few days and i will report back on noise. But do know that I am not a guy who likes loud exhaust. I like it on the track or a car show. But I also appreciate peace and quiet. I even shoot my guns with suppressors. Yes, they are legal in Oklahoma. No, i am not a crazy person.

I like cars and guns...what can i say.

Well, the autocross was cancelled. And I was out looking at houses with the wife all day Sunday. So didnt drive the car again till this morning heading to work. So let me drive the car a few more days and I will get back to you.

But the car pulls stronger as whole, and most importantly it pulls nice and linear from 3k to 7k.

Can I dual wield two Uzis with suppressors at your shooting range?

Strange enough you could. Each lane is 25 yd by 25 yds. With 12 foot berm around all 3 sides. It allows for multiple target engagement.

However, dual wielding in real life is dangerous and not effective. Every time I bring a new guy out they want to John woo the targets. And I get it. I love woo films. But honestly you wouldnt hit a damn thing.

But it is a lot of fun. It sure was a lot cheaper in my military days. Ammo goes up, so instead I race.

You can almost not really hit stuff with low caliber hand guns.... That's about it.

Ammo is nuts anymore, so are track fees though.

Not gonna lie, I've tried it before and it was pretty funny until the shell hits your forehead. LOL

Lou: Hey, Chief, can I hold my gun sideways? It looks so cool.
Chief Wiggum: Sure, whatever you want, birthday boy.
