Sun Visor Warning Labels

Has anyone had any luck covering these annoying labels? I tried to remove the pax side on my Forester with a heatgun and had no luck. Some folks have had luck doing so, although I don't recommend evening trying it.

I know there are some stick-on covers available from eBay etc. however, they look cheesy. My only though is to have them professionally recovered by a shop.

Anyone??

Heat makes the plastic warp. And it never really completely removes the shadow/imprint left over. Solution is to get it wrapped or find a piece of satin/flat black vinyl to cover it. I have been lazy and haven't gotten to it. I cant decide to cover just the warning label or the whole side of the visor.

I sprayed them with plasti dip. The textured part looks the same and the sticker part is a shiny black square hahahaha! Better then yellow but not 100% perfect.

I don't know if it works for the BRZ here, but what I did for my Golf R was take a rag, soak it in 90% Isopropyl, and then let it sit on the label for 5-10 minutes, then peeled it off pretty easy. There's a very slight imprint left on it but it's gone otherwise, and no damage to the material.

i just covered mine with patches of carbon-look wrap because that's what i had on hand. you can see them but they're not as obvious as the labels.

I tried several things to get them off. Got one off but the area where it was looked very different from the surroundings. Ended up wrapping the whole visor

Do it yourself or send it off?

I sent it off but I wanted a design on it(so it would match my headliner). I found a diy on google that was very simple. If you don't want something really fancy, anyone should be able to do follow it

I'm most likely going to go the JPM Coachworks route. I like the look of the Alcantara look on the visors.

Without looking up the piece on the JPM, I can only imagine diy would be cheaper. Should cost about $30 if I remember right

Oh yes, DIY would be MUCH cheaper. But I'd never get the fit and finish that my OCD demands by doing it myself. It's worth it to me to pay more.
