Graphics for someone who doesn’t like graphics

My all-black car looks a bit boring.

Never been into graphics before, but am wondering how some graphics might change the look. I am thinking of something simple and clean, and would appreciate some feedback on the ideas below.
1) A simple graphic down the side, along the lines of the classic Porsche style (obviously it wouldn’t say Porsche or Turbo):

2) I think blue and red would look good on a black car, and have always liked the vintage Datsun livery:

I’m thinking maybe taking those red and blue stripes and running them down the fender on one side or maybe both.
Anyone have any ideas or opinions? Thanks!

Id honestly start with an etsy style side stripes and see what you like.

as a guy who ran a full livery, its way fun but you forger how clean the car looks with no stickers on it. (says the guy about to run a stickered up car again)

theres also a kid on instagram who has a black and red *panda* striped GT86 and it looks swell

I suppose a cheap starting place might be a windshield banner? How do you feel about those?

Good idea, but not a fan of those.

@Nozarashi86

Yes, that’s what’s nice about graphics, you can just take them off when you’re ready to go back to a cleaner look.

Is this to attract males or females? For males, for sure get the turbo/racing whatever stuff since we like that in your face race car flashy stuff.
If for females, put some flowers on those graphics or get those headlight eyelashes.

Nah females don’t care unless you drive a loud, basic ass Mustang. Also feel like both things you mentioned only attracts a couple different types of men. No not speaking from experience..

You have seen many wraps on cars on Instagram, I am sure, anyone of them that you’d like? Go see a recommended sales shop, they have tons of them for 3k$ installed

Honestly I think if you add a spoiler to the trunk and OLM rain guards, you'll love the look. Consider it!

The rain guards will add physical dimension and contrast with the shadow they'll cast on the window

that last one looks crooked. i see how it's following the door sill edge, but the door sill is somewhat concealed, so my eyes compare the decal to the hard edge of the rocker panels.

the car is just too curvy for straight-edge decals!

you could consider something like this in a matte finished clear to add visual texture without being as obnoxious

or this highlights the natural curve, again, my preference would be a matte finish decal that would keep with the body color, but add visual flair. but it looks very hemi-ish to me. i immediately think of the dodge charger.

the upper version in this one highlights the forward curve

i've also considered something like this in silver just ahead of the rear wheels to break up the large surface area of the sides.
