Yep. I am going to start a new thread with all my other findings but that won't be until Monday.

Is the usa trd tips installed on there with 10 mm bolts? Can it be changed with the jdm oem tips?

I do find it rather loud inside the car with the TRD exhaust... exactly as op says... boomy down low or on decel... or under load... sounds better at higher rpms...

At least I can't hear any rattles or squeeks

Almost silent compared to my old Coronet R/T 440 Magnum with the headers and straight side piped exhaust.
I think it is just about the perfect volume myself.

Any ideas on where to get the TRD exhaust in Canada? Stock is a little mellow for me, but I don't want something insanely loud or droney.

The dealership or Sylvain at @FT86Motorsports

edit: I wager Sylvain will be cheaper and have better service

TRD exhaust apparently has a little drone inside the cabin so keep that in mind.

Yeah, I'de probably just stick to the stock exhaust if I could go back in time and do it again... I have a long highway commute once or twice a week.

Very little drone. What is acceptable is totally subjective though. I have zero issue with mine even at 14 hours a week on the 401. It isn't really a volume thing either since the highest reading I ever got in the car was 82 (to many that is loud to me that is just fine). There is actually very little change in volume in the TRD what changes with revs is the tone which makes it seem louder than it really is. It is more likely that tone that bothers people.

Tcoat: do you track car? I've heard that it's muffler stuffing may burn out when often going at high rpms, and thus loudness will increase for TRD exhaust by time.
