I'm sure I've to do the same next time I'll remove the bumper to install side grids. The old plate didn't worked well

I read this install manual and talks about a simple nut to fix inside bumper's border, I am focusing to buy a SU003-02898 or 902900015, same M6 rivet-nut of Perrin's trunk pull handle. See page 2

Did anyone fit this?

Looks like you need to cut part of the black plastic and then just bolt the bumper to it??

Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen when a garage needs to remove it and they're not aware its bolted on!
