2 inches of drop will do you well. But if you're going for a totally slammed look you'll need 18 x 10 or wider to sit flush with fender.

You're still not getting what me and others were trying to tell. It was not to reduce grip in rear, but to add proportionally in front as much as in rear, to not fsck up handling, hence rear will not slide any more then in your setup going at same speed. We are not telling to get narrower tires in back, but to put same wider width in front too. But i'm giving up tries to get logic through to you. You want to pay to make car worse. Your money, your car.
And .. you'll pay much more to buy again front wheels & tires then $100. Please, don't blame us then for not being convincing enough

I get it, I just dont care... Again, my car is a daily driver, not a racecar. While i like to have a little fun in the car, Im not pushing the limit enough to care about slight added understeer because of my wheel choice. Its not going to screw anything up on my car, it just wont handle as good as someone who built their whole car around having perfect suspension. I like function, but I like looks too. I got a good deal on a package I like, and I came here to make sure it would fit... I appreciate the advice, but I have enough experience modding cars to know a staggered setup wont hinder 95% of my daily driving.

Thats all good stuff to know, When i get bags im trying to go for that totally slammed look. Now would spacer aid the goal of sitting flush when slammed if i wanted to keep the same wheels? I would only park at slammed height, when driving i would do the 2 inch drop like you said depending on the condition of the road i would be whippin on. Western, Ny streets are garb-salad

A lot of folks on the forums do run 18s, but I would prefer to stick to 17s (preference in looks/tire sidewall look, tires slightly cheaper as well).

I believe the rpf1s will present clearance issues if you ever want to run a BBK so that may be a consideration. a widely popular option that comes in 17x9+35 (among other sizes that fit would fit well) and will not cost an arm and a leg are the wedssport tc105n wheels
Aw man, doubt he's getting any camber adjustment parts any time soon. How far would he poke at 1-1.5 drop 17x9 +35 245/35-40? Or will that start rubbing already?

17x9 +35 would be the best choice for function and form(in 17"). It won't rub with 245/40. That setup is probably the most common for these cars.
Is that factoring in a drop with no camber adjustment? I'm basing everything off what I saw in the chart so just a little more cautious about getting 17x9 +35 since that's waaay beyond flush according to the chart.

Yeah spacers would help. If you go thick spacers make sure to get the bolt on ones.

The chart is for stock height and zero camber.
Everyone's definition of flush is slightly different. Check out this thread and decide for yourself. Camber bolts are like 20bucks.

Its tight to the inner struits, but with 225 tires it should work

Will work, but will be about 1cm outside the fenders
