lol these people demanded endemic disease and now we got it, with little to no mitigation policies

anyway, just check out these beautiful statistics showing how states like texas and florida intentionally make public health choices that lead to extremely high death rates compared to other states

People in Texas and Florida have the freedom to stay home if they are scared. I don’t understand why it bothers people. I’m vaccinated and boosted, but I’m done with shots, masks, and social distancing. My suggestion is for people to mind their own business, which I know is asking a lot these days, and cower in the basement if you want to. Leave people alone and stop feeding off of each other hoping for a pat on the back. The only people who care are other people without a life, looking around for acceptance from other people feigning outrage for attention. Get a grip and move on.

Ah yes the return to the "just go cower away on your own, leave society, blah blah blah what a load of shit"

There are plenty of good, decent people who are even vaccinated but are still high risk. You're basically telling them to GTFOH and not live a life that they're already challenged to live as it is, all because you're too lazy to wear a mask in a cramped spot like a grocery store or similar places.

Work announced today the lifting of all mask restrictions healthcare system wide, outside of standard PPE protocols for treatment of patients. We are still under the vaccine mandate which requires unvaccinated to mask in any public area (basically except when in their office).

They are also loosening the visitation policy in the hospital, but haven't seen the details yet.

I suppose enough time has passed to post this, but at the end of January I lost my best friend to COVID. She was one of three pillars in my life keeping me stable and I lost her. The last few weeks have been some of the hardest in my life. I'll keep it at that, but just felt it good to share my anecdotal story.

Now I get it. And I have no words. Hold onto the routine. She would want you to keep going.
