Beluga Racing Exhaust

Long time lurker and finally decided to join the conversation.
I was wondering if anyone had heard of this company before and what they think about their products. Mainly their frs exhaust.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/191154451151

I'm on a crazy small budget and have been considering this exhaust. It's stated to have 2.5" ID instead of the odd 2.25" some cheap aftermarket ones have. Also, the flanges don't look like complete crap and it has some nice welds on it. Any input would be great appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

its an EVO3 Knockoff, some as Manzo or whatever other company. Its just some off brand that gets re-branded by every company under the sun..

They sound pretty good actually but you will have some fitment issues you will need to play with.

Add in cost of shipping, tax, and gaskets(not sure if included) into your consideration. And then you have to deal with the fitment issues if there are any.

Fitment issues are something I was expecting. I could easily correct something like that, so I'm not too worried about it. It was actually a toss up between the two and I'm still unsure which one would be best.

Never thought about the gaskets and such along with tax. Might as well go for something I know more of. Manzo isn't horrible and has the hardware included.

just wait for a used quality exhaust on members' classifieds..

don't know why people spend so much for their car but cheap out on the upgrades. More headache imo, but ymmv. I'm all about doing things for the cheap and DIY as much as possible... but some things...

I understand where you're coming from and I couldn't agree with you more. But my budget just doesn't allow for it at this time and I'll be replacing them in the future. It's not a permanent upgrade. Just a stepping stone, if you will. Which is why I'm not extremely concerned with fitment and things of that nature.

if it's a stepping stone then wait for a used quality piece that you can resell later..

no sense not doing that. I got my FT86SF V2 CBE for $200 from a member on here. I love it.

Don't they sell fish eggs to people who eat them on crackers?

Sounds amazing man, been eyeing that OFH and trying to save what I can for quality stuff like that. Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll continue to wait and be on the lookout for used quality items then.

Got the OFH new on here from a member, not even installed, $400 with shipping. Deals are abound because now is the time that a lot of members are going FI. Keep us updated if you go with this exhaust though, it does look dang good for being a rep

It's one of those times where if you want to get something, wait two weeks to get it. A lot of good deals come by on the classified section here, being patient sucks but in the end it works out better. Save at regular intervals and wait until you find a sweet deal

With a name like Beluga, I would expect the exhaust to have a whale tail... fail.
