Just wanted to update that i'm 100% in... i've booked a hotel for the night at the Golden Nugget (Soo expensive... I could have used the money for more mods)

Wow just looked up some of the prices for one night at Golden Nugget and I can say nope. That's not for me lol. Unless I can somehow get it covered for business.

Yea... it's really ridiculous. I'm splitting it with a friend though, that'll ease some of the pain. There were some cheaper motels for about 2/3 of the price, still expensive.

I'm treating this as a mini-vacation, hence the splurge

They got some really nice rooms and all (all booked though), but I'm not about to throw money away for just one night.
I haven't really looked at other hotels that much, but looking through Tropicana's rooms.. eh not so great for their price.

Can I make one recommendation? Take the Merritt Parkway instead of 91 to 95... 91 isn't bad but driving down 95 is miserable with all the tractor trailers when you can take the Merritt to 287 on a much nicer road with better scenery, and no tractor trailers!

No worries! I drive that route a LOT and have taken 95 maybe once out of the last 80+ times because I had to stop at Ikea Plus there are quite a few Mobil stations with room for all the cars located right along the side of the Merritt Parkway so people could do a quick pit stop, bathroom, etc.

Damn. Well depending on what time the tournament is taking place, the group will hopefully be in Greenwich around 10:15 a.m. Maybe you could just meet us at the rest area for a few minutes. If not, there will be other meets.
