Also curious what they'll do with about 800 faulty GT3 engines.

Probably trash them or test them. Production of the new engines starts soon.

Ew PDK.

That's funny, I had the soaked passenger footwell problem but it's because I had a plugged drain hole. Not sure how a new car would have that happen...

Most contracts stipulate that you must use the companies own arbitration process before taking legal action (check the contract for your car, it's in the fine print). I understand why he hasn't gone full on 'fuck you' mode yet, but it should be really really soon. Glad it got posted here, with all the comparisons to Porsche it's nice to know the Toyobaru is ahead in a few areas...

He is not the only one.
My friend here in Australia is having worse problems with his Porsche dealers attitude to fixing his Porsche.
He has even hired a private investigator to help prove his case.

It's really a two part issue isn't it?

1: German reliability is still questionable.
2: The dealership model in the USA is an antiquated cartel that needs to die as it's a big part of why dealerships suck.

Really put things into perspective. I'm a big fan of japan's engineering, car or motorcycle. Though I gotta give that guy prop for having that humourous attitude...this car ain't cheap.

Wow - Porsches are usually pretty good in quality and reliability too - that guy really got a lemon. It's a shame his dealer hasn't treated him better in replacing/refunding the car.
