Turn that around - Ford involvement in F1 would probably have the effect of increasing American interest, too. For that matter, IndyCar could probably benefit more from a Chevy-Ford rivalry than they do from the current Chevy-Honda one.

I'd love to see Ford building high-end racing motors for other than the GT.

Probably enough blame to go around, but Vettel cutting across the track into Max, who in turn was typically too aggressive to back down, and with Kimi trying to get around on the left... the outcome was easy to see coming.

In my opinion, the worst part was Alonso being taken out by Verstappen after a brilliant start that could have seen him challenging for the lead.

Wow, poor Verstappen, literally the only thing that could have saved him was some supernatural premonition telling him to stay left and not trying to fend off Vettel and even then Kimi probably would have pushed him to the wall from the otherside.
