I think it's beyond debate that a core group of anti-government conspiracy theorists have once again, seized control of what was started as an informational thread. When called out they whine to the authorities.

Studies are done in dozens and dozens of different country, involving thousands of different scientists and doctors and ancillary staff that run the statistics, along with collaborating hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical companies, etc, and these studies are submitted to peer review journals. You are challenging multiple industries and multiple systems of reporting, and you are suggesting hospital records are fabricated, reporting to government agencies is fabricated, doctors and scientists are all liars, families are all paid off, etc. I mean really, this is out there stuff. I just feel bad for you man. There is a difference between healthy skepticism and what you are proposing. It is a dark and cynical perspective if you truly believe all the institutions around you are so corrupt and so fallible, yet also so capable of controlling everything to manifest such a conspiracy.

I have simply suggested there may be malfeasance in some of the information that has been provided as a barrage by politicians, the media and experts for over a year. And a percentage of those may have been done with increased profits (or other objectives) in mind. You continue to avoid rational conversation and keep jumping to the global conspiracy angle on your own, almost suggesting that there are only two possibilities, 100% truth or 100% conspiracy, and as I said previously, I find that naïve.

But the chances of anywhere near a real conspiracy here are so far out there that its a waste of storage fees for the owner of this site. Its just not going to be reality. 3 people can't keep a secret let alone 100s of thousands. Let's just stick to whats actually possible. While i have no problem believing pharma and gov of lying at times (even together) all doctors and medical data won't. Considering I work for a company with medical data on the vast majority of Americans its just not happening, period.... we would literally have to be part of the conspiracy.. now that I said that some people here might blame me lol

These suggestions are unsubstantiated. They mean nothing.

Follow the conversation. Even the smallest propositions about corruption and about suppressing life saving medications have huge implications. Again, like I said before, jumping from a supposition that 'money corrupts' to accusations of corruption at multiple levels among multiple institutions from around the world is a huge difference, and that is what has been presented here. I think the people hawking these ideas are doing so off-the-cuff and are clueless at the how far and for how many players it would take to do some of the things they are proposing, or they are acutely aware of their statements and are truly in the belief that we live under the regime of a deep state controlling our lives.

There is no middle ground like you are trying to propose, so I am not being extreme. A global suppression of Ivermectin as a life saving drug is not possible, and if it was, it isn't because a few people or institutions are out for a profit. Again, the implications are far, far more vast. The only middle ground could be that people are clueless to what they are suggesting that they think it is a middle ground position to think businesses are corrupt, when in fact it is far more extreme. I think everyone else around here sees how what has been proposed is utterly ludicrous and impossibility. Yes, we can all agree that many people in the world are corrupt and capable of being influenced, but jumping from that to a global suppression of a life saving medication is just out there man. You can't downplay that.

Just to remind us all where this topic grew from and from statements preceding this, just so we don't lose context and start back tracking. Do you find these statements to be extreme or in the middle, and what are the implications of what he is saying if we are to take them at face value?

When I wrote that, I wasn't refering to doctors prescribing drugs for money, I was refering to various health care, pharmaceutical corporations, and government interests potentially actively discrediting ivermectin and other cheap readily available drugs for financial reasons. I do believe doctors over- or incorrectly prescribe medications for their own gain. Unfortunately, if that happens, I suppose one should also be open to the possibility that similar poor motivations could and do exist on a much larger scale.

You can't really make these statements and not sound extreme. They are clearly not hyperbole. These are unsubstantiated claims if simply addressing individuals, but they become more when they are addressed to multiple institutions, as he is clearly suggesting.

It will be difficult for history teachers to explain to their students. The internet allowed a cult to grow so large as to result in far far more deaths in the pandemic. Social media is dangerous. Goebbels would have had a field day with it.
