gauging interest: drift class

Hey,

So I saw that ADSI http://hpds.1adsi.com/index.htmlhas a drifting class pending in June. I spoke with the head instructor of ADSI and he said that a club had arranged for it but hasn't made the final reservation for it yet.

I really want to go to this, but I'm going to be out of the country in June (most likely).

The last time I went to ADSI for the cornering class, it was just myself and another guy - pretty much private lesson. So here's my proposal, if there're enough people interested in a drifting class (for May 19 so I can go too!) maybe we can set something up.

The instructors are really cool - very helpful and informative. Not too sure about pricing, but for regular 'classes' it runs $250 a head- this includes open track day from 12-5 with your own special line separate from those that are doing the half day only. So you'll get more runs than everyone else probably.

Let me know! I have high hopes

I would be interested in the drift school as well. Funds pending.

If you don't want to wait and don't mind the drive, Drift Spot is running an open drift day next week (May 18th), and will probably run another full clinic in June (June 22). Here is the list of events:

http://www.drift-spot.org/events/

Also, the pavement at ADSI is pretty rough. We've looked at drifting there in the past and decided that it wouldn't work for most of our drivers. As for an instructional, there should be enough clean pavement for some donuts and stuff.

First time out, you won't even go through what you drove in on. Besides, I have my stock ones if you need them.

The website of beaten cars does not inspire confidence in me...Is there anything to hit; or is it an open/cone course?

It's an open lot. There is a jersey barrier wall to protect the pits.

Watch the video under the Learn page. It shows the lot and one of our course configurations and the wide variety of cars that attend.

Where does ADSI run their events? I didn't see any location information on their website.
