Some one will come along that can help.
wrong idea of LTFT
if LTFY is positive it means it runs lean and the exu corrects
in this case the trims learning is a bit erratic, but anyway we do not have the afr target in the log, we dont really know yet

yes need a maf scaling and definitely a timing reduction
PM for help if you want

Give it more time to learn LTFT in closed loop, then maybe switch to a richer version as it looks like it'll be lean once ltft settles. Pulling timing or ****ing with the anything else in the tune based on a half-arsed cursory glance before ltft has settled is sure to waste your time, like what happens to most who post in here now days.

6000 RPM - AFR 11.71
6500 RPM - AFR 11.60 to 11.37
6800 RPM - AFR 11.37
Target is 11.7 til 11.9

I am a real amateur so not in any way able to understand other data from the log. Are the data OK or should I get someone to make me a remote tune? And who?

I will be tracking the car soon so want to be sure not to damage anything!

Thanks in advance;-)

Target is 11.7- 11.9(Quote you).. He is 11.6-11.37 Richer NO? His LTFT want to add more fuel by the positive Number NO? His am is under 1 for a start that`s a reduction in timing NO?
I may be wrong, his intake may have some influence, you never know

yep you re wrong
the rich afr is a result of incorrect applied positive ltft

Also, oft "afr actual" has ALWAYS been bugged, since forever
it gives richer than OBD afr actual value
Wayne says about this in his website, but no one remembers it
You need to log afr command to help seeing it better, and remember of the offset caused by the bug

It is a more vast topic, so that you actually are allowed to not care if the 11.6 AFR it gives, is a real 11.6 or a 11.8.... Also because the lambda scaling is SUBJECTIVE to the tuner

Wayne tune's measured 12 AFR is different from my tune's measured 12 AFR...
but you have to keep in mind the bug anyway

wayne gave good advice to try
personally i prefer to spend time and do custom tuning and disable ltft in open loop but to each his own.

Hi Wayno
What do you mean by "give it time to learn". I have been driving around 3000 km since i flashed the -2% tune.
BTW My intake is standard apart from a K&N insert.

That's incorrect. You have the files you paid for. I know this because
1. I have a log of every file downloaded,
2. You constantly bitch and moan about them, and
3. You posted parts of them on this forum which the site kindly asks not to.

I will message you. I've not found anyone with MY17+ willing to do any real testing since shortly after the refresh.

Not first time that I encouter someone with your tune on Euro restyling car... they definitely need some tweaking, i wouldn t use your cam timing but the normal ones used in ots v2

anyway the guy has TD headers, they need different timing they aren t good as ace and they are very different from short EL

Also adv timing i think they are too high for 20% PI at high rpm
100 ron fuel , at least in Italy is not so good, it s just a little better than 91 oct
of course you can ignore this

Well excise me I don`t have any of the files on my pc any more and certainly not V164. So your saying I have To pay again? Seems a bit Unfair.

Hi all, I just logged a 3rd and 4th gear pull, Wayne's V163 AT A01I. A fair bit of knock in 4th gear. Was thinking changing Eng load @ 3800 1.15 to 1.05 to help the rich dip and pull some timing up top and. Comments appreciated. Cheers https://datazap.me/u/vk3xhm/v163-mod...=1-3-6-8-10-11
