I would start by ordering some cheap head gaskets for both fa20 and fa24 then compare them.

Did anyone ever compare the head gaskets?
The FA20 block doesn't have enough wall thickness to sleeve out to 94mm. Below the water jacketed area around the crank case is quite thin. 90mm pistons is as big as you could safely go. |
