Loving all the great suggestions on numerous DIY threads. Just switched out the amber turn signal blubs for the chrome/amber ones in both the front and rear, which you can see in the taillight picture below.
I also switched out the stock exhaust tips for some black DC sport tips, which was another great suggestion in the "black tips" thread.

Here is some pics...

Maybe a little difference in loudness, but very small, so hard to tell. This is a great solution until I utilmately determine what exhaust mod to go with. I do love the solid black look though.

Car looks good Mr. Grinch, but I should haven't to tell you that. Your journal has added some persuasive points into whether I should still get a DGM. And are you planning on putting some black rims on that baby or what?

Yes but I want 17"not 18" to keep driving dynamics the same and have not found any I really love in that size. I want some black enkei Raijins, but they are not available in 17".

How about BBS RF's? I think those are pretty close to the same design as the Raijins and they come in 17".

Had a big scare today.

I was in a parking lot with the engine running for about 20 minutes as I was talking on the phone. After I completed the call, I put the car in gear and started to pull off, the engine was very sluggish and would not hardly rev at all, and eventually stalled out. I immediatley turned the car off and waited for about 15 minutes. When I turned the car back on, the check engine light was on. I proceeded to call my local Subaru dealer and they said to come in so they could check it out. The check engine light stayed on for about 30 minutes during the drive to the dealer, and then turned off about 10 minutes before I arrived. During the ride, the car seemed to behave normally.

The tech proceeded to hook up his diagnostic PC to the port under the steering wheel. The diagnostic error code came back with "High Pressure Fuel Pump Circuit". The tech indicated that since the car appeared to be behaving normally and was no longer showing the error, he felt that it could have been just a sensor malfunction, or some debris in the factory oil that caused the problem. He wrote up a work order to document the issue and told me to keep an eye on it.

I have right at 2,800 miles on it, so I'm thinking about changing out the oil a little early, in case debris was indeed a factor.

Any other suggestions or comments ?

That is exactly what the tech said. I hope this is not an indication of a future problem with my car.
