Nur Spec Kit Install Information w/Diagrams

Toyota's Nur Spec kit doesn't come with any instructions, presumably because it is supposed to be installed at the factory... and in another country. So, I took it upon myself to find my own information along with some comments from my body shop...

The closest I could find was exploded diagrams of each part, inserted below:

Front Under Spoiler

Rear Under Spoiler

Side Skirts

Rear Deck Wing/Spoiler

The kit comes with the 2 side skirts, a 3-piece front lip, 3-piece rear lip, and 11 piece or so rear spoiler... and a bag of about 10,000 pieces of hardware. All the hardware bits are individually wrapped and have part numbers on them. The diagrams I found had different part numbers tied to them, but the bag's part numbers listed out to the side. I made a table that compares the two different part numbers which will allow you to match them easily. Below:

Rear Under Spoiler

There is also the part numbers for the larger pieces should anyone need them for anything...

The guy at my body shop (miracle worker) is pretty cynical and says every other body shop sucks ass, lol. So, he thinks other shops will cut corners with certain things like mounting the spoiler properly/straight, drilling the sideskirt holes (he thinks most won't and will just double-sided tape them), and drilling the front/rear bumper holes which are required if you use the supplied brackets. THIS IS ALL POSSIBLE. He did it, I've seen it, it can be done. Just FYI too, every rear bumper (FR-S and BRZ) and FR-S like front bumper comes with circles imprinted on the inside of the bumper which is exactly where the drilling is required to mount the brackets for this kit.

Hope this helps for anyone who is considering this kit, has this kit, or is trying desperately to mount this kit. I'll gladly answer any questions anyone has and can ask my mechanic anything I'm not sure of. Enjoy!

P.S. Pics coming soon I hope...

Great info! That Nur Spec wing is tempting as all hell. Hopefully, we will get it here eventually Otherwise, price is a bit steep for just the wing

so the front bumper doesn't use any sort of tape, just drilling?

I've got my nur-spec front sitting in the office. It has tape already pre-applied. Just have to pull the tab to remove the backing.

Nice, thanks for the info. Tape and rivets I assume are all that's needed?

There's a bigillion parts/bolts/clips that comes with this kit and it can get kinda confusing to install. Especially because they want you to drill into your panels for the sides and rears. I didn't want to drill, so I had my guy add double sided and an extra 75867A bolt on the rear side.

Did you guys use a particular type of tape? I've seen all sorts of 3M mounting tape, with varying thicknesses, and widths. The kind I have is similar to what comes on the kit (I have the TRD for now... keeping the side skirts but replacing the front), but wasn't sure if there is a difference.
