I would not buy any car ATM till prices come back down to normal. Gonna roll with my twin for 2 years and just enjoy it on the track with stock power and flex fuel.

yup mid 2020's they locked the ECU and I don't think they have been cracked yet.

It always takes a few years to crack new BMW ECU’s, but it always happens.

I don't think the 2.0 Supra is worth it TBH. Too little engine for the size and heft of the car. It has the looks, but not the go, nor the sound, nor the handling gear (e.g. LSD). The 3.0 is the only Supra I'd consider, and I think it is worth saving up longer for.

Have you considered waiting for the GR 86 and seeing how you like it? That extra bit of torque and power may make a key difference.

There is also the new 400Z coming out. Those would be my three in the shortlist: 3.0 Supra, 400Z, GR86.
