Thanks! Will do that!

Background: This week the car started feeling gutless, specially on low rpm. Less power than my 18 Brz, not able to break traction even in turns.

Did not hear any knocking event or any type of other engine noise that would call my attention.

What I am suspecting: bad fuel quality (filled with 93 from Kroeger this time)

Question: How do I diagnose if this is related to the fuel? Any other had similar reduction of power/torque?
I have had this happen on my 13' multiple times since you can't pump your own gas in OR, they put 87 in. You can see it if you have a way to look at your IAM in real time, I use my OFT to check, usually drops IAM down to .4ish, so only giving you 40%(all other factors removed) of your base timing. Seriously feels like you are down 20+whp, throttle response sluggish.

I keep a shot or two of "Boostane Shot" in by glove box for these situations. Not all our 94 is actually 94 here.

That is a good point. Won’t do a baseline with the bad fuel to avoid engine damage.

Is there anyway to do atmospheric corrections to correlate later?

I did not check yet, but I still have my OFT. Do you think that would read on Gen2?

Also, I have a bluedriver, that may work too.

I will plug and check, thanks!!!

You aren't going to hurt anything. That's the whole point of the ECU logic. If it's bad gas, engine is gutless because it's pulling timing to avoid damage. If it was something else, damage would already have happened.
