@AVOturboworld, sorry for the off-topic question, but can you try to find out what the weight of the STi wheels are, too? I tried asking Japanparts.com and they didn't have the information. As much as I like them, ~$600ea. for cast wheels seems a bit risky without knowing the weight. Thanks!

None of the parts. They're all ugly.

Please paint the roof, hood and spoiler! The bottom bits can stay unpainted although the sideskirts are questionable at best. And they really need to give us another option for the fender vent!

I like the roof and front lip unpainted. Otherwise I'd rather have the parts be color matched.

All exterior ad-ons should be colour coded, anything underneath should be painted black (with the exception of bare aluminium).

As I mentioned in the other thread where this picture was introduced, I don't care for carbon fiber. I would love to see the trunk spoiler paint-matched. I actually like how busy the side skirts and front lip are on the BRZ. It's bold. I HAVE to know when those rear spats will be made available as I didn't even know they existed until that picture was posted and now I'm just LUSTING after them!

I guess the funny thing is that I'm still waiting for my BRZ to arrive (Black Limited ordered in April), so it wouldn't REALLY matter if the side skirt and spoiler were painted. However, when I have seen those parts paint-matched, the subtlety of it is really awe-inspiring.

I completely agree with coyote.

switchlanez, I'm glad you got that front lip spoiler skirt. Car is hot, sir.

industrial is also right. I would love the STI fender badge like the GT300 and BRZ STI Concept has. It would help complete the look.

Also extra emphasis on wanting to know the weight of the STI wheels. Please!

Thanks. I already got the STI wheels installed (see below) but couldn't get the weight of the wheels because I didn't have access to a scale at home nor the shop. Before I ordered, I asked Yuki at japanparts for the weight and she couldn't give it to me til someone ordered the wheels so they could physically weigh them. Not sure if they weighed my wheels after they got my order but if you inquire with yuki@japanparts . com maybe they'll have the weight on record by now.

I just checked my order tracking and FedEx says one package weighed 23.15 lbs. I still have the boxes and complete packaging in the garage. I'll try to find a scale and subtract out the weight of the packaging to get an approximate wheel weight.

Great looking car man, thanks for sharing those pics. Makes me want a WRB now!

Oh, switchlanez! I was going to suggest that you just tell use which tires you're using, then you could just measure a wheel and subtract the tire size to get the wheel weight. That wouldn't take too long, I would think. I'm salivating over here!

I just emailed Yuki @ Japanparts.com. I'll let you know what she says. Thanks!

Definitely painted. No offense but I think the black looks weird and cheap. Especially on the hood.

I ordered from japanparts.com. All STI parts were discounted 17% (way below the MSRPs posted on STI's site) so shipping balanced out plus in the 8 years I've been buying JDM stuff their prices usually came out cheaper than other distributors including American-based ones like Carson Toyota.

I sent them a message asking about the weight of each one. I just wish they also offered them in gold/bronze
