It may help a little by locating the piston better within the damper but I think you will still have the issue of shock travel and hitting the bumpstops. It seems that if you want to lengthen the travel the lowered LCAs are better. I haven't read up on suspension systems enough to know the negatives of this in terms of shock geometry.

Thats' a question best left to @Racecomp Engineering or @CSG Mike / @CSG Dave

As long as the shock remains within the specified range, lowering the bottom or raising the top equally add to bump travel (as long as the changes themselves are equal).

Has anyone installed either of these kits yet? I have the B16s but am waiting on my wheels and tires to come in before installing the suspension.

I will be installing mine early next week. I had to wait a little to get the hvt camber plates and drill the rear top mount. Everything looks pretty sweet though.

Coils look sweet. Looks like you went with whiteline control arms and camber kit. How easy was the install?

I agree. Monotube coilovers like Bilstein and H&R drive better on the street. I generally dont care to use twin tube design.

These coilovers cannot be compared to KW V3. KW V3 = 2 way. The other higher end 1-way competitor is the Ohlins Road and Track.
Bilstein offers and is expanding their inventory of Clubsport coilovers and when and if they do for the BRZ/FRS that would be a better comparison with a KW V3 or Clubsport KW kit.

We look forward to their 2-way damper offerings. I can always contact my buddy at Bilstein to get a 2-way damper setup going if necessary. It's all a matter of how much you are willing to spend.
