Dual is louder (significantly); I've heard both in person (and own the dual on my 2014).

My dual, with no other mods, is about the same volume as a single with a catless front pipe.

Um just to warn you that these exhaust are LOUD no matter which you choose . I went with the dual because it looks better, but if you want to go the cheaper route then get the single.

Single is pretty damn loud - loved it but had to sell it after about ~1 month of use, I think, can't totally remember. Too many children in my neighborhood, couple that with early bed-time. So I assume that equals potentially unhappy parents lol

Really? That is bizarre. I am running the WORKS resonated axle back and that is suiting me quite well.

I've never noticed any issues. Axle back/muffler deletes are usually what I run on all of my cars (including 2 evo's), and honestly I've never seen a performance gain or decrease.

As for levels, the ones I've heard:

Stock: 5
Works A-B: 7
Single berk (no resonator): 8
Single berk, with catless front: 9.5
Dual berk: 10

The dual berk also has a pretty decent resonance right around 2000rpm. I've learned to just avoid speeds that are at that RPM in a specific gear. The Works doesn't seem to have any from my friend's car though.
