ND Miata is going to be at the show if anyone's interested. I'm going to be attending the Mazda Press event on Friday morning (on behalf of both FT86Club, of course!) so hopefully I'll be able to get up close and personal with the Miata.

I've been watching the Cat in the Hat in P&L's lobby for five hours now and I'm beginning to question whether this is real life or not...

Chicago Auto Show - 2/15/2015

Awesome interactive event
(Very impressive, from what I am used to back in my country)

Indoor circuits -Took a ride(As a passenger) in a SRT 8...went fast on a straight line for a few seconds

Outdoor circuit -Took the Scion FR-S out twice and had a few small drifts (limited circuit/More of a test drive), felt awesome downshifting an FR-S after months!

Awesome Cars, Awesome ShowGirls! Well worth the visit!

Thank You Chicago!

lol i wouldn't say missing out...

actually i met a guy on facebook going to killarney race track 30 min outside the city center of cape town and got a few session rides in his brz. pretty sweet to see table mountain in the background. also one of the most accessible race tracks in the world - 400 rand to get on? $35 us? and people were complaining the price went up, wow!

just finished my 2 week cheetah program, also visited the very famous de wildt cheetah center yesterday. currently writing a blog post on what i think are its non-trivial shortcomings actually...

i'll have a monumentally larger amount of cool cheetah stuff i will post about later, but in the mean time here's a pic of me driving with a cat

What!! That picture is insane man!! Riding with cats!!
Respect!!!

Haha Yeah man, the Cape Town experience is beautiful!

And I agree with you from the American perspective that $35 is a steal!...but/and as a South African... I agree...that $35(R400) is abit expensive!
(As I said...the cost of living is low in SA /Hence you comparing it to cost of goods/services in SA)

What was the guys name with the BRZ at Killarney? Damien?

I went back to The Chicago Auto Show this weekend, and spent a few hours on things I didn't get to see last week,

Also met Ken Gushi, awesome guy!!

What's your next visit in South Africa?

yours is coming first actually, since i need better stuff to render those. in fact even just working on editing the files seems it could be a pain...

it's not your fastest session i'm sure and i don't even know if it has ethanol in it, but the one with the m3 and sti is the only one where i have internal vid and data plus the outside cam. so that's the one i'm going to stick out there. rendering video now, i'll be overlaying data on it afterward and should have it up on youtube probably before you go to bed.
