Was surprised to see no further action taken on Vettel.
Maybe a behind the scenes "if you pull this kind of thing again you gonna get it"?

Ham has a 5 spot penalty for a transmission swap.

Alarm set to 2am for qualifying.

Yeah...seems equitable, huh? NOT. Vettel skates on a dangerous in-race move and Hamilton is penalized for replacing a faulty gearbox. Sometimes I just don't get the way the FIA thinks. I guess it helps to drive a red car.

Well its a pre determined penalty from the beginning of the season. They cant just not give him a penalty if he replaced his gearbox un scheduled, based on the fact he had a bad race the previous race...

Valtteri "YES!" Bottas proving to be an excellent replacement for Rosberg... I wonder how long until Hamilton gets pissed off at him for something? Probably the next time they have to go wheel to wheel on track now that Bottas thinks he has a shot at the championship.

Hamilton seems to have two moods: "I'm invincible" or Emo AF

Also fuck yeah Haas, 2 year old team putting their car behind Merc, Ferrari, and Merc is incredible. They've become a successful mid-pack team in incredibly short order, one chassis development breakthrough could make them front runners.

With Ferrari, two words come to mind, don't know why but they do, 'cosa nostra'.

As for Lewis, he is British, bravado goes out of window very quickly before it slips into self disbelief.

I completely understand that. I was only trying to point out the seemingly arbitrary nature of in-race penalties, and the disparity in consequences.

I was over at Jalopnik and came across an article for HondaJet and how it skid off the runway. Well I started reading some of the comments and died laughing at a post by "McMike". Take a look..

I don't know if any of you have been watching the developing Kubica storyline, but he may be back next season with Renault. That would be so awesome!

Oh, and I missed this weekend's race, looks like the usual people were being muppets, and Ferrari ran into some trouble.
