Given that his personal car is a Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 he doesn't give praise lightly especially on chassis balance.

BTW his is quite short (5' 7" from memory) for those eyeing up the gap behind the drivers seat.

There is leg room indeed based on *his* seating position.
im 5'7" or 5'8" with the right shoes so that bodes well for my being able to put my daughter in the rear without breaking her little ankles.

the car looks so smooth and fluid around the corners. so balanced, my style indeed. i just need to know the price

Hmmm.. that does give hopes that you can fit people if you are shorter than 6'. To be honest, I know Chris is not tall but I have no idea about his height.

neat video. I notice he mis-pronounced the 86 (hint: if it was eighty-six, it would be called Hachi-Ju-Roku not Hachi-Roku). Also, kind of odd that they let the guys go around the track with no helmet. I suppose it is Spain, but still...

I did think the video showcased a good bit about the car though and was entertaining enough. Thanks for the post.

Glad to see you appreciate the philosophy. With that floating around in your head, you should really enjoy the GT86. I'm looking forward to a drive.

Tim

That was the review I was waiting for. For me Chris Harris is the best automotive journalist. After he said the LFA is the best car since the McLaren F1, now yet this. Kudos to Toyota for having made the last and best sportcars before the changing era.

nope, he is pronouncing it correctly. The car is not nicknamed the "eighty-six" in Japanese, it is referred to what would be "eight-six" in English. In other words, "hachi-roku".

Very excited to see this video after work.
