No additional sound deadening or acoustic insulation material that would increase the weight of the "roof-module" and displace the center of gravity = tin can

Adding just a couple squares helps significantly without making the car too heavy.

Turned my cheap hf tool cart into a snap on version. Now the tools don't bounce back when I throw them at it.

Yes, the same with my 2019 STI. Insanely loud roof. Can not do much...unless you want to take apart the liner and add a few squares of sound deadening. I daily a GTI and it's a sound studio compared to my STI. I imagine the GR has the exact same road noises. Tough...
