What is the turnaround on a bad Rotrex unit covered by warranty?
I do feel like I see quite a lot of them kick the bucket, so I want to know what to prepare for if it happens to me at some point. |

Something like this would likely be done in a case by case basis, get the unit # from the seller and contact JR directly and ask them.
When I bought my C38 that's what I did and they transferred the warranty Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk |

Thing is the unit goes back to Jackson then it gets sent overseas to Rotrex, passing through customs in and out. Not sure if it goes by air or by sea but if it's by sea then yeah it will take a while. Personally I have about 10k miles on my c38 with no issues.

Yup. Currently at 5 weeks since Jackson Racing received my unit. I inquired about the status, but haven't heard back. At this point i'm considering getting a new unit because ima need my car running, but it's a tough call. So far i've seen it ranges from 4-6 weeks to several months for some people.

Is there a way to adjust the intercooler temperature at cold weather. I am feeling that my engine does not like very cold air temperature.
Anybody covered the grill? Last edited by mrg666; 10-18-2018 at 06:25 PM. |
