The difference from CARB + stock header to any catless header + tune is already significant. The difference is only amplified when comparing to an Ace header.

There have been some dyno posts in this thread in the past.
The CARB tune is only available with the non-TIY kit, correct?

You can always purchase the CARB tune separately for $500. You'll need your own Ecutek license and cable/dongle.

Darn. Too much $ for a simple baseline test. Oh well.

Any suggestions on where to get that stuff? I'm thinking about getting a used c30 kit

What is the turnaround on a bad Rotrex unit covered by warranty?

I do feel like I see quite a lot of them kick the bucket, so I want to know what to prepare for if it happens to me at some point.

Months. 2-3 seems to be the average I've seen/heard.

I think more are doing fine than not, it's just that if something happens there are a limited number of places to get advice from.

Something like this would likely be done in a case by case basis, get the unit # from the seller and contact JR directly and ask them.

When I bought my C38 that's what I did and they transferred the warranty

Thing is the unit goes back to Jackson then it gets sent overseas to Rotrex, passing through customs in and out. Not sure if it goes by air or by sea but if it's by sea then yeah it will take a while. Personally I have about 10k miles on my c38 with no issues.

Yup. Currently at 5 weeks since Jackson Racing received my unit. I inquired about the status, but haven't heard back. At this point i'm considering getting a new unit because ima need my car running, but it's a tough call. So far i've seen it ranges from 4-6 weeks to several months for some people.

Is there a way to adjust the intercooler temperature at cold weather. I am feeling that my engine does not like very cold air temperature.

Anybody covered the grill?
