Want to Wrap Part of My FR-S

I want to wrap the area leading back from the fender garnish in glossed carbon fiber to match the carbon fiber garnish I have coming soon. I have no idea where to start or how to do it. Anyone have any experience in this area?
Everything above the black lines is where I want carbon fiber wrapping.

Ask @zeal86, his sick beast of a car has an HKS banner in that exact spot.

i love 3m products, but their "carbon fiber" vinyl looks cheap and completely fake.

actually, most "carbon fiber" vinyl regardless of brand, look totally cheap and fake to me on a car.

Just don't wrap it in 'Carbon Fiber', if it isn't carbon fiber.

There is a seller on eBay making vinyls for that spot. I think they are black only BUT if you contact them you may be able to work something out for carbon

Nice job, looks better than one with the HKS banner. How'd you do it? Got close up pics?

I don't have close ups yet, but to do it I had to take the door panels off then take off the mirror to have a flat surface for the vinyl. The bottoms of the vinyl aren't completely level, but I have some thin matte black pinstripes coming on monday to make it perfect. I'll post some close ups then!

The strip looks great.

Not sold on the fuel door though. Everything looks nice and symmetrical and then BANG random black dot. I never understood doing the door a different colour anyway though.

As long as you like it it doesn't matter if I am not sold though.

GET WRAP CUT! It is really easy to use and prevents accidentally cutting your paint.
