Still just a concept even for those places that would be more likely to get it. I will give you good odds it never even sees production.

Sadly Tcoat is right on this one. They didn't get much good feedback on this shootingbrake 86 (iirc worse feedback than open top 86 concet ver), so I highly doubt they gonna look into it anymore.

Toyota should of contacted me to make shootingbrake... I would of made it 10x better ver making high demand to make it into production... but what do I know. I'm just 86/BRZ-mania that does a lot of photochopping and thinking bout 86/BRZ 24-7. lol

Me too. "Great" is not nearly high enough. At least "almighty" or "magnificent". Come on now.

Thanks to all for your replies. (Where is the thank you button?)

The additional cubic volume/utility of a hatchback can be very useful. The last gen Celica, Mazda3, and Mini Cooper/Clubman models have certainly been successful. Is there any chance they would consider a more visually appealing version of the shooting brake?

I didn't know what "ute" meant, so I had to google. I never knew "coupe utility" was called "ute". Learned something new

I never knew it was called "coupe utility," so that makes two of us. I've always seen them labeled as utes.

Your version is certainly stronger and more muscular than the original prototype. Aggressive auto styling has been a winning approach for several years now.

Well, it's gonna be a concept, mind as well make it a bit aggressive to catch ppl's attention.

Just like FR-S concept which was shown at NYIAS.
