- Mounts using OEM hood brackets w/o mod?
- Did you ever mod with hood pins (pix seems to indicate "no" but want to make sure)
- Do the vents have water run-off channels (underneath)?

This hood wasn't modified at all, no pins. Bolts up like oem hood. Not sure what you mean by water run-off channels. There is a really nice splash guard under the hood if that's what you mean. Never removed the splash guard so it still is tight up to the hood. As far as self control- I don't have any either for car parts lol so good luck. Feel free to pm me if you have any further questions.
